Who Will Succeed Stalin ?
[N.Z.P.A. Special Correspondent.] (Rec. 10.15 a.m.) ■ LONDON, Dec. 4. It is reported that unprecedented press eulogies of Mr. Molotov when his election as an honorary member, of the Moscow Academy of Science was announced have revived conjecture about the Soviet Foreign Minister’s prospects as successor to Mr. Stalin. It is most unusual for the Russian press to single out any deputy of Mr. Stalin in this manner and the prominence given to Mr. Molotov is therefore considered by some commentators to have special significance at the present time.
