DUKE OF WINDSOR
COURTESY CALL ON MR. ATTLEE (Rec. 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, November 1. The Duke of Windsor called on the Prime Minister (Mr. Attlee) at No. 10 Downing street. It is understood the visit was merely a courtesy call. The Evening News says the .visit had nothing to do with any reports that the Duke may be taking up a new appointment overseas.
