GOLF Caulton Wins Club Senion Title

The final rounds of the Greymouth Golf Club’s 1946 championships were played on the Kaiata links during the week-end. AH the matches were played over 36 holes. In the senior final B. W. Caulton defeated L. Rhodes 8 and 7. Caulton, who has a handicap of three, returned a card of 76—one over par—for the morning round and was not troubled subsequently. L. C. Lindley won the intermediate championship from F. F. Boustridge, 8 and 7, and T. Cameron defeated W. Ryan 1 up to take the junior title. In the second round of the C division match for the Caulton trophy, the two best, scores were returned by Mrs. J. Bluett, and Mrs. F. Boustridge each with 82 net.'
