When, it was referred to a Transport Department inspector he stated that, acting on complaints received, he had made several trips to your district recently. Although trouble with wandeimg stock had been experienced in the past, he had seen no evidence ot it on his recent visits. He added that, it he were notified by telephone when stock was seen on the road, he would, it possible, make a special trip. Inlormation as to the names of the persons responsible would make his task less difficult.—Editor, Evening Star.
