The British Ambassador at Belgrade has sent a Note to the Jugoslav Government replying to allegations that two Jugoslav officers on August 9 were beaten up in Venezia Giulia and that Allied troops and police supported “the Fascist hooligans. , molesting the officers.” s The Press Association says the British Note expresses the opinion that there is very little substance for the allegations and contains counter allegations.
