Reliable Arab sources at Jerusalem state that the Najada, the most powerful of Palestine's three Arab armies, has placed itself at the disposal of the Arab executive for “direction in combating Jewish terrorism.” The Associated Press Jerusalem correspondent says that this move follows the Jewish terrorist raid against the Ottoman Bank. at Jaffa on September 13, in which five Arabs were killed. A Jerusalem message states that the authorities have released from prison on medical grounds the revisionist leader, Wolfgang von Weisel, after an 18-days hunger strike. Von Weisel announced that he refused to call off his hunger strike because he was liable to be detained again “as soon as my health permits.”
