COMMERCIAL SELLING PRESSURE EASES IN SYDNEY
SYDNEY, Sept. 16. Selling pressure eased considerably on the -Sydney Stock Exchange today and several leading industrials continued to recover from last week’s losses* A firm market prevailed for Government bonds. The turnover was higher and failed to satisfy buyers’ requirements. MININGNEWS Associated Gold Dredges.—For the week ended September 14, this company’s dredges recovered 205 g ounces from 91,770 yards in 365| dredging hours. . Clutha River.—The Clutha River dredge, operating at Alexandria, reports a return of 136 ounces for 106 hours. —(P.A.)
