NATIONAL ORCHESTRA
USE OF NEW ZEALAND TALENT (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 17. The maximum use of New Zealand talent was being made in gathering together the National Orchestra before considering whether any players from overseas were required, said the Director of Broadcasting (Professor Shelley) yesterday. Invitations had already gone out to the membeis chosen, and it was expecteq that the orchestra would gather for the first time at the end of October.
