GOLF Vines Leads Canadian Open Field
WINNIPEG, August 8. In the first round of the Canadian professional 10,000-dollar open golf championship Ellsworth Vines returned a score of 65, seven under par, equalling the course record. Craig Wood, Winsnock, James Thomson, and Fazio returned 69, Haas and Furgol 70, Ferrier, Metz, Sam. Snead, Lawson Little and Leon Wood 71.
