RUGBY FOOTBALL Senior Competition Final To-morrow

The chief attraction for Rugby enthusiasts to-morrow will be the meeting of Cobden and Celtic in the final of the senior championship. Owing to the water-logged condition of Rugby Park no matches will be played there. The Rugby Union’s fixtures committee .will decide this evening what matches are to be played at Oinoto. Cobden has a well-balanced side which has been playing consistently good football throughout the season. Celtic, however, has shown considerable improvement in recent matches and scored a decisive win over Blaketown last Saturday. The first match of. the new oneround competition will be played by United and Star. The Star team has disappointed lately but should be able to win against United, which has not won a match this season.
