WRESTLING Results of Last Night’s Bouts
New Plymouth. Several hundred people were unable to obtain admission to the Opera House, .New Plymouth, last night, tor a professional wrestling bout in which Earl McCready, 17st. lb., drew with “Lofty” Blomfipkl, 16st. 91b.. after a bright exhibition, in l which each secured one fall.-
Dunedin, * In a pibfesisonal wrestling contest in the Town Hall, last night, before a good attendance, Hank Kaempfer. 16st. 81b., defeated Georg Pencheff, 16st. 21b., on points. The disparity in weights appeared much greater than those announced. The bout was characterised by much showmanship and clowning.
Hawera. Gaining his second fall m the sixth round with a body press after a drop-kick, Jack Claybourne, 16st. 111 b.,. beat Harry Andrews (Australia), IGst. 91b., by two falls to one, before a capacity house.
