THREAT OF NEW ATTACK IN PALESTINE
JERUSALEM, "Aug. 5.
The Irgun Zvai Leumi has broadcast a threat of “new and heavy blows against oui' British enemies, even in the heart of their power.” The terrorists said in the first broadcast over their clandestine radio station since the explosion in the King David Hotel that if another curfew is imposed residents will be given orders to go into the streets at curfew time, and if-the British start shooting “there will be a thousand British victims, too.”
