GOLF Blackmore Cup Matches Continued
The second round of the Blackmore Cup competition was played by Greymouth Golf Club members at the Kaiata links during the weekend. The links were heavy but some good cards were returned. Detailed results were: L. Lindley and Mrs. K. McCarthy, B. Foster and Miss V. Deere, 76; R. Woodhouse and Mrs. McKane, 79; L. Rhodes and Miss McKnight, 80; F. Boustridge and Miss King, W. Ryan and Miss E. Hannan 81; B. VI. Caul ton and Mrs. J. Robertson. J. Garth and Miss D. Blair, 82. In the semi-final of the Orkney Cup competition, Cox defeated Foster, 5 and 4 and Hill beat Stopforth, 5 and 4. '
