MEDICAL AND CHEMISTS’ PAYMENTS HIGHER Payments. of medical benefits under the Social Security Act . were increased by £329,602, and reached £5,564,315 in the year ended March 31 last. This information is obtained by comparing the figures presented by the Social Security Department .to Parliament last week, with the figures presented a year ago. These benefits are reported on by the Health Department, which the sections of the Social Security Act and has not yet presented its report. The comparative payments for
