The funeral of Mr. John Dowling, of Dunollie, took place at Karoro cemetery yesterday, being largely attended. The service at the graveside was conduced by the Rev. Father Foley. The funeral of Mr. Charles William Saunders took place at the Karoro cemetery on Saturday afternoon. The service at the graveside was conducted by the Rev. Father V. Flaherty. Mr. and Mrs. R. Mitchell left to-day for Blenheim Where they will reside. On Saturday, evening, Mr. Mitchell who was a member of the Blaketown I Rugby Football Club, was met by ' fellow players, on whose behalf the club-captain, Mr. A. Agnew, made a presentation of a bedside reading lamp. , , . ' , Guests at the Albion Hotel include Mr. H. Wiggins, Mr. and Mrs. Baker (Auckland), Mr. and Mrs. C. V. Brooks (Hokitika), Messrs. G. W.
