Ngahere.—The Ngahere return for the four weeks ended August 2 was 4500 z from 91,376 yards worked in 234 hours. Martha Gold.—The following information has been cabled to the London office of the Martha Gold Mining Company (Waihi), Ltd.: in the fourweekly period ended July 20, the mine operated on 20 days, crushing 10,323 tons of ore for a result of 2387 fine ounces of gold and 23,236 fine ounces of silver.
Slab Hut Creek—The return for the week ended August 2 was 52 ounces in 98 hours from 16,000 yards.
Snowy River. —The Snowy River dredge return this week was 183 ounces from 51,000 yards in 266 hours.
Gold Mines of N.Z., Ltd. —Kanieri. —Ran 559 hours and treated 194,000 cubic yards for a return of 806ozs. Arahura.—Ran 567. hours and treated 335,000 cubic yards for a return of 8450z5.
