EFFORT TO SAVE FOOD snip (Rec. 10.10 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 2. A powerful rescue tug is speeding seaward from St. Nazaire to try to save the food-carrying American ship, American Farmer. Air reconnaissance from Plymouth showed she was still afloat after a collision yesterday.
