LICENCE RENEWALS
AIRCRAFT AVAILABLE FOR AERO CLUBS
It was reported at the annual meeting of the West Coast United Aero Club, held recently at Greymouth, that arrangements had been made for members who wished to renew their licences to have check dual flights in the Tiger Moth aircraft at Hokitika.
Present at the meeting were Messrs. D. Gemmell (president), E. Good, B. Cummings, L. J. Wicks, N. Suttie, C. Lewis, J. Stewart, E. Dalcom, F. Molloy, the Rev. Father O’Gorman, D. Coppersmith, C. E. Betts, W. Dini, and H. J. Wicks (secretary). / A vote of thanks was accorded to Messrs. C. Lewis, N. Suttie, and W. Dini, for their offers of assistance to enable the club to resume flying. It was stated that arrangements were in hand for the purchase of further machines, in order to provide flying facilities for members of the constituent clubs at Greymouth, Hokitika, Westport, Wataroa, and Reefton.
The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows:— Patron, Mr. P. C. Heaphy; president, Mr. B. Cummings; auditor, Mr. M. R. Bunt.
