PARKED VEHICLE DAMAGED AT KUMARA
Fire caused serious damage to a three-seater car owned by Mr A. Stark, of the Courthouse Hotel, Kumara, shortly before midnight last night. The outbreak occured when the car was standing in Seddon street, Kumara, and apparently did not start in the engine, but in the driver’s compartment. The Kumara Fire Brigade was summoned and made a good save by using a motor pump. It is understood that the damaged vehicle was not insured.
