(P.A.) WELLINGTON, May 31. The amount of shipping under construction'in British yards which will later appear in New Zealand ports is indicated by a return published in Syren and Shipping, published in London and received in New Zealand by the New Zealand Shipping Company.

On the Clyde, John Brown and Company, are building the twinscrew, refrigerated, cargo motorship Norfolk, of 11,100 tons for the Federal, Steam Navigation .Company and the twin-screw, refrigerated, cargo motorship Haparangi of 11,000 tons for the New Zealand Shipping Company.

Alexander Stephens and Sons are building the refrigerated, cargo, turbine steamer Somerset, of 10,000 tons for the New Zealand Shipping Company, and two twin-screw cargo motorships, Huntington and Cumberland, of 11,150 tons each, for the Federal Steam Navigation Company. On the north-east coast, Vickers Armstrong are building two twinscrew motor liners, Hurunui and . another, unnamed vessel of 11,150 tons each, one for the N.ew Zealand Shipping Company, the other for the Federal Steam Navigation Company, and a passenger and cargo liner of 19,000 tons for the New Zealand Shipping Company. .
