WOMEN’S INSTITUTE
FLEETING AT BRUNNER
The monthly meeting of the Brunner Women’s Institute was held on. April 17. Mrs W. Gutberlet presided over a good attendance. Mrs Bell and Mrs Williams gave an interesting report on the Federation meeting, yinA were accorded a vote of thanks. Mrs R Warren was appointed the delegate to attend the Dominion conference in Wellington. It was decided to send a donation to the Leper Fund, and also to collect stamps for the fund. Miss J. Warren won a “Telegram” competition. Mis Rodgers gave an interesting demonstation on wool cot blankets. Mr Gutberlet won the competition tor plain biscuits, and Mrs Rodgers ±Ol “Bush Fern.” Supper was served, and the meeting closed with the singing of the New Zealand national anthem.
