The Auckland Racing Club’s Easter meeting was concluded to-day in heavy rain. The track was holding. The totalisator handled £95,605 10/-, compared with £204,514 last year. The total for the meeting was £312,421 10/-, against £406,010 last year, a decrease of £93,588 16. Results: —

Sleepy Fox Makes History in Easter (P.A.) AUCKLAND, April 21. ■The Auckland Racing Club’s autumn meeting opened yesterday in fine weather. The track was soft. The totalisator handled £216,816, compared with £201,496 on the first day last year, an increase of £15,320. Sleepy" Fox received a great ovation when he won the Easter Handicap for the third year in succession. Well placed most of the way, Sleepy Fox took command at the ' home turn and held off the fast-fin- | ishing lightweight, Prince Revel, by a neck. Results: —
