COMMERCIAL EXPORT MEAT SCHEDULE
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, April 23. The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board advises that the wether and ewe schedule in the South Island will be increased by one-eighth of a penny per lb as from Monday, April 22. This increase is accounted for by increased wool growth. COMPANY NEWS Macky, Logan, Caldwell, Ltd. — The net profit of Macky, Logan, Caldwell, Ltd., for the year ended February 19 was .£6447, compared with £6392 in the previous year. The usual dividend of 74 per cent, (final 4| per cent.), requires £6375, and £72 is left to increase the undivided profits to £14,493. The profit is struck alter providing an unstated amount in expenses for additional taxes for 1945. The gross earnings were £122.376, compared with £126,262, and expenses, including taxation provision and extra taxation for 1945, were £115,929, compared with £119,870. Bycroft, Ltd.—The New Zealand Stock Exchange Association has been advised that the directors ol Bycroi’t, Ltd. (Auckland), have recommended a final dividend of 4 per cent., together with a victory bonus of 6d a share, payable on May 16. Share registers will close on May 2. —(P.A.)
