Facsimile Newspaper Printed.
A radio facsimile machine no larger than a portable typewriter, which prints a four-column newspaper at the rate of 500 words a minute, was publicly demonstrated in New York py a research group sponsored by 20 newspapers and radio stations. The machine prints pictures and advei - tisements with excellent clarity. In use it is linked with an ordinary frequency modulation radio receiver. Regular commercial programmes probably will be attempted by the end of the year.—New York, April 18.
