LAWN TENNIS South African Singles Title
(Rec. 11 a.m.) JOHANNESBURG, April 19
Eric Struggess won the South African singles lawn tennis title for the third successive time, defeating Norman Farquharson, 6-0, 6-3, 6-2. Farquharson, who is a Davis Cup player, held the title in 1934-5-6-8.
