UNO TO CONSIDER PROPOSAL (Rec. noon) WASHINGTON, Apr. 19. Mr. Wilbur Forrest told the annual meeting of the American Society of Newspaper Editors that the United Nations Economic and Social Council would consider the American proposals for an international agreement regarding news freedom at the session beginning in New York on April 25. _. The council’s chairman, Sir Ramaswami Mudaliar, informed Mr. Forrest that the commission on human rights would deal with the matter initially and a draft convention might be drawn up, the adoption of which could be recommended to the General Assembly.
