HAMBURG CROWDS RAID FOOD SUPPLIES
(Rec. noon) LONDON, March 20. Crowds in Hamburg broke into bakers’ shops and stole bread. They also raided a food train. This is the first disturbance since the rations were cut, says Reuter’s Hamburg correspondent. The police broke up .a mob of 150 which was struggling in one shop. A special police squad broke up a raid by 200 against the food train. One truck was broached and oat sacks were ripped open.
