OSWALD MOSLEY’S SON
ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF WEAPONS dismissal of charge (Rec. 11.45 a.m.) LONDON, March 1. The charge against Oswald Mosley’s son, Lieutenant Nicholas Mosley, of possessing three automatic pistols and ammunition without a certificate, was dismissed. Counsel for the defence said that Mosley lost an Army revolver in Italy and obtained the pistols while serving in Austria. He had no knowledge of the recent Army prohibition against the importation of enemy material. The Magistrate, giving Mosley the benefit of the doubt, said an Army officer was entitled to be armed.
