The depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 25ft. 4ins. WEATHER FORECAST.' The following is the district forecast, issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, to-day:— Situation: A depression is centred south of Southland. An anti-cyclone is advancing over the Tasman. Forecast to 5 p.m. Wednesday: Moderate to fresh westerly to southwesterly winds, weather cloudy with occasional showers, but fair intervals. Temneratures cool. Further outlook: Fair.
