Cobden will have to win this game in order to keep with Marist. Marist are without their captain, O. Morris, and a batsman in W. Hamilton. Cobden are without D. Dewar, J. Webber and A. Knapp so the game should be evenly contested. Marist “B” travel to Brunner. On form Marist should win, but Brunner are improving each week, and a good game is expected. United “A” and their “B” teams meet on Number 2 ground. United “A” should open their account with two points on the ladder.
