MOANA NOTES

Mrs. Rankin, who is shortly leaving the district, was entertained at a “bridge afternoon”, the guest of Moana Women’s Institute. The President, Mrs. Richardson spoke of the great support that Mrs. Rankin had given the W.I. She was the foundation member of this Institute fourteen years ago, holding office in all capacities. In presenting the guest with an overnight bag, she said how sorry the Institute'was to lose such a loyal worker and wished her happiness and success in her new home. Mrs. Rankin, in thanking members, expressed her regret at leaving the district, but assured members she would always look back on her membership here, as one of great happiness.
