A BUSY PROGRAMME (N.Z.P.A. Special Correspondent.) LONDON, October 23. Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Freyberg, V.C., is travelling to Londom via Paris, to attend the Alamein Day luncheon. Mr. Churchill ■ and Marshal Montgomery will also be P Lieutenant-General Freyberg will .receive the honorary degree ol Docioi pf Common Law, at Oxford University next Thursday, and he will be present at the New Zealand Army Rugby football team’s first match, at Swansea next Saturday. He will fly to Egypt next Monday to say farewell to New Zealand troops. He will attend an Alamein memorial service on November 9, and afterwards he will bid farewell to New Zealanders in Italy, and review the brigade which is due for occupation duties in the .Far East. On November 21, with Field-Mar-shal Sir Harold- Alexander;’ he will be honoured by the Royal Empire Society in London.
