TWO JOBS.
[to the editor.] Sir. —It was pleasing to read your footnote in reply to Ratepayer’s letter on caretaker • being appointed temporarily, which we also claim should be called from the public, as I was told by a member of the Board in January last. There are several of us men who have done our share overseas and married, and who would welcome a chance to apply and get a home, which we believe is vacant, as it is a job for a married man. There is a strong demand for’Engineers, etc., in our local foundry. Yours, etc., “SOLDIER.”
