The following team- has been selected to represent Marlborough in a challenge for the Seddon Shield, to be played' at Westport next Saturday: K. Welch, T. Nesbitt, G. Sowman, V. Jackson, L. Edwards (captain), D. Kelly, M. Forward, H. Chandler, D. R. Tuckerman. T. Hegglun, ■ F. Bennett, L. Simpson, A. Haines, T. O’Sullivan, B. Gibbs, G. Heslop, C. Roberry, G. Mustchin and I. Hammond. The Buller team is unchanged. Mr N. Eggelton, of Greymouth, has been appointed referee of next Saturday’s match at Westport between Marlborough and Buller for the Seddon Shield.
