RUNANGA NOTES
[OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.]
At the monthly meeting of the Runanga W.I. Mrs. Barker presided. Mrs. Virtue read the aspirations. Sympathy was expressed with Mrs. Timlin jun. and senr., in the loss of husband and son. Competition winners were: Shopping bag, Mrs. Armstrong 1; Mrs. Griffiths 2. Gingerbread: Mrs. Griffiths; mystery parcel, Mrs. Williams; memory list, Mrs. Armstrong; lucky number, Mrs. Baxendale. The committee were hostesses for the social half hour. Next month’s social halfhour will be “back to childhood.” Supper was served by the hostesses.
