STRAWBERRIES FROM HOLLAND

LONDON, May 11. Members of a Dutch resistance group brought into Canadian headquarters two Allied airmen who had been hiding from Germans near Amsterdam, and two boxes of strawberries, says the Associated Press correspondent. The boxes were addressed with formal accuracy: “Their Majesties, Buckingham Palace.” and “Mister Churchill, 10, Downing Street.” The strawberries were delivered by plane. They are the first to come from Holland since the outbreak of war.
