A trough of low pressure is approaching Southland. , Forecast to 5 p.m. Thursday: Northerly to north-westerly winds . fresh at times to-morrow. Weather cloudy with scattered rain spreading" from the south. Temperatures, mild. Further outlook: Occasional rain.' 5 .
