BELGIAN GOVT. LONDON, Nov. 7. “The Belgian Government is tottering,” says a “Reynolds News” war correspondent. “The administration has Jailed because it tried to serve the pre-war profit-making fabric and at the same time give the people the necessaries they must have before the Winter. Its effort to reconcile the irreconcilable was doomed to failure. Questions still agitating Belgians’ minds are the fair distribution of food,, the punishment of profiteers and collaborators, effective control of prices, and the reorganisation of industry. There has been a slight improvement in the food situation in the last few days.”
