GOLF
The women’s medal match postponed last week will be played on Saturday, weather permitting, or Sunday. The golf match for Saturday at Kaiata will be a Bogey Handicap. (Players to arrange their own partners). Sunday—Final Orkney Cup: Rhodes v. McKechnie. Closing day will be Nov. 12, when a mixed Canadian foursome over 13 holes will be played. Ross 11.9 v. T. Tonks 11.9 (Ashburton); G. Bowman 11.2 v. G. Sedgwick 11.6 (Ashburton); Noel Ord 10.12 v. R. Tonks 11.3 (Ashburton); J. Boddy 8.13 v. J. Schied 8.13 (Ashburton); A. Cowan 8.13 v. A Sparrow 9.3 (Ashburton); B. Eder 8.4 v. C. Hay 8.3 (Ashburton); J. Porter 8.2 v. M. Tuck 8.4; N. Curtis 6.3 v. V. Tuck 6.0; C. Curtis 5.1 v. R. Ross 5.0. Matches are being arranged for W. Ellis 10.2 and F. Mulcare 8.4.
