The death on the bar at high water yesterday was 23 feet. WEATHER FORECAST. The' following is the district forecast issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, to-day:— Situation: An extensive anticyclone is over south-eastern Australia and Northern Tasman. _ Forecast to 5 p.m. Tuesday: Fresh winds from a westerly quarter prevailing.
