REEFTON, October .30. Relations in Reefton have received advice of the death in prison camp in Germany from pneumonia of Private Robert Park, second son of Mr. and Mrs. James Park, former Reefton residents. A native of Reefton, the late Private Park enlisted in the New Zealand Division early in hostilities and ‘was taken prisoner in one of the early campaigns. He was transferred to Germany from Italy and had been a prisoner of war for over three years. He is survived by his parents, two brothers, Mr. Edward Park and Captain Lawrence Park (2nd N.Z.E.F.), also two sisters, Mrs. J. Bain and Miss Eva Park, all of Christchurch. Miss P. Lawn, of Reefton, is an aunt of deceased.
