By Paper Slipper: Royal Slipper winner of the Pioneer Handicap, for two-year-olds, four furlongs, decided at the Avondale meeting, is a filly by Paper Slipper from Royal Coat, by Pink Coat from Princess Thurnham, dam of Leopardstown, and was sold at Trentham by her breeder, Mr W.' Gentleman, of Timaru, to her present owner, Mr W. Clifton, of Takanini. She was the first yearling ottered at the sales, and was sold for HOgns.

CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. .12

The New Zealand Trotting Cup to be run at Addington in November will be for horses assessed at 4.27 and luster for two miles, and horses <n 11 years of age and older will be ineligible.
