GREY COUNTY COUNCIL
CR. R. CLARK NEW CHAIRMAN
Cr. R. Clark was elected chairman for the ensuing year at the annual meeting of the Grey County Council this morning, succeeding Cr. W. Fisher. Cr. J. W. Hannan declined to accept nomination. Cr. Clark returned thanks and promised to carrv out his duties to the best of his ability. Cr. Fisher welcomed Cr. F. Donovan, who took his seat for the first time, and congratulated those who had been re-elected. He moved that a letter of thanks for his good services be sent to Cr. H. G. Carter, who was not re-elected. He thanked the engineering. office and outside staffs for their efficient work during the year. Cr. Donovan thanked the Chairman for his welcome. The Chairman’s honorarium was again fixed at £lOO. The meeting received an engineering survey of work performed during the year.
