ARGENTINA QUAKE
BUENOS AIRES, Jan. 18. The Government announced that 1500 persons are known to be dead and 3000 injured in the earthquake which wrecked San Juan. Fears were expressed that the final death roll might reach 3000. Damage is estimated at 100,000,000 dollars. Argentina, to-day, observed a national day of mourning.
