J guineas was paid for a Romney lam at the stud breeders’ annual sale yesterday. This was the first ram ol - iered at the sale. The vendor was Mr A. L. Wheeler, Marton, and the purchaser Mr. Dalziell. Other Romneys went from 310 to 710 guineas. The highest price for a Southdown ram was 420 guineas, the vendor being Mr. R. Oakley, Waipukurau.
