RELIEF ASSESSMENT

Delegates to the U.N.R.R.A. conference at Atlantic City unanimously agreed to ask uninvaded member countries to contribute one per cent, of national income towards the cost of rebuilding devastated Europe. The sum would be computable for the year ended June 30, 1943. The United States’ share at this rate would be approximately fifteen hundred million dollars.
