REEFTON, November 18.

At the Reefton’s Magistrate’s Court, before Messrs W. B. Auld and C. Nevin, J.’s P., Peter S. Rankin was charged with the theft of £l6, the property of H. Gallagher. Defendant was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence within six months if called upon, and ordered to make restitution of the money. Mr J. A. McEwen, of Waiuta, has received advice that his son, Andrew, of the R.N.Z.A.F., who was posted as missing, has been classified as killed on air operations, and is buried in Holland.
