LONDON, July 2.
Mr. L. G. Frise, designer of the airliner of 130 tons, which the Bristol Aeroplane Comanj 7 is to build, predicts that the giant plane will enable the introduction of a two-da.y service between Britain and Australia, with only four refuelling stops. Mr. Frise disclosed that the special engines, developing a total of 20,000 h.p., will give a cruising speed of 250 to 300 miles an hour, using only a small part of the maximum power. The machine will be an all-metal ■monoplane. It will carry a crew of 15, and 150 passengers in day time, and 70 to 75 at night. Mr. Frise predicted that the airliner would make possible a nonsubsidised passenger service between London :md New York at £5O single fare.
