Advice from the Air Department, Vv ellnigton, states that the deaths of the following R.N.Z.A.F. personnel have been officially presumed as having occurred on October 23, 1942: Pilot Officer Rodney George Dane/, Wellington: Sergeant Edward Reid Dodson, Nelson; Sergeant Graham MacLeod Martin, Christchurch; Sergeant Douglas Gordon Martyn, Waihi. The above-named men represent the crew of an aircraft reported missing from a North Island air station on the elate above-mentioned.
