AUSTRALIAN CENSORSHIP
BRITISH PRESS CRITICISM (Recd. Noon) LONDON, Mar. 5. The “World’s Press News” gives prominence to the revelation its inquiries in Australia disclosed that not a word of Noel Monk’s criticism of the Australian censorship, got beyond the Australian censor’s office. “Australia thus lived up to the reputation which Monks gave it. The Australian political censorship killed his story. This shows in illuminating fashion that while Australia is prepared to ‘give it’ in criticism of the British censorship, she is not prepared to take it in relation to her own actions.”
